WELCOME TO ACT NOW where you can make a movie and make new friends! We provide improvisational MOVIExperience summer playshops for girls 10-14 and school year programs for kids of all ages.
Monday-Thursday 9:00– 4:00 and Friday 9:00 to 2:00 followed by family screening of movie at 2:00.
A Week with ACT NOW
Participants should bring a lunch and water bottle each day. ACT NOW will provide healthy snacks.
The girls will be dropped off and picked up from the primary location of each Playshop. However, girls may be filming at different locations during the week.
ACT NOW can design a custom program using MOVIExeprience for your school. This program can be used during the school day over a week, or in weekly sessions over multiple weeks. It can also be used as an afterschool program. Ages/grade levels of participants and topics of focus can be designed to match your needs. Some topics that have been covered in past workshops include, friendship, bullying, wellness, team building.
